As an Indianapolis newborn photographer, I create a relaxed, baby-led experience that feels effortless and meaningful. My sessions take place in the comfort of your home, where everyone (especially baby!) can feel calm and comfortable. There’s no pressure, no stiff posing—just genuine, heartfelt moments that tell the story of your growing family.


Every session is thoughtfully designed to be stress-free and enjoyable, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: soaking in every moment with your little one. From start to finish, you’ll receive gentle guidance on what to wear, how to prepare, and how to make the most of your time together.

1. Book your date

I’ll reserve your due date on my calendar and keep a few openings around that time.

Already had your baby? No problem — reach out, and we’ll get you scheduled right away!

2. Plan your session

You’ll receive a warm welcome email with everything you need — a short questionnaire, prep guide, and access to my online styling service.

From wardrobe planning to preparing your home, I’ll help make every detail effortless.

Once baby arrives, we’ll set the perfect date for your session.

3. A relaxed, natural session

On session day, you can just be present with your family. I’ll guide you through natural prompts to capture genuine moments — no need to worry about perfect poses.

4. Relive the magic

Within a few weeks, you’ll receive your gallery filled with heartfelt, timeless images — photographs you’ll treasure for years to come.

FAQ

Where will my newborn session take place?

Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home.

What age does my newborn have to be?

As a lifestyle newborn photographer, I have more flexibility with the scheduling of your newborn session. Your newborn can be any age for their first photo session.

Do you pose the baby?

While I do place the baby in the best light and swaddle younger babies, there is no formal posting that takes place. I will photograph the baby alone and in the family's arms - the best place for a newborn to be!

When should we book a newborn session?

Ideally, it's best to book your session while you are still pregnant. I note your due date and keep a few dates open around that time frame. If you've already had your baby, get in touch with me and I would be more than happy to try and accommodate you.

Can you hold a session date for us?

All bookings are first come/first serve. To keep it fair, I cannot hold a date without a retainer fee and signed session contract.

What is your payment schedule?

In order to officially book your session, a non-refundable retainer fee is required of 50% of the collection price. The remaining balance is due one week before the session.

Is there a travel fee?

Locations greater than 25 miles from Plainfield, Indiana, will be charged a $1/mile fee.

Can I purchase additional images or the full gallery?

Yes! Each session includes a set number of beautifully edited digital images, but you’ll also have the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery once you’ve viewed your photos. Most families fall in love with so many of their images that they choose to upgrade — but there’s no pressure to decide until after you’ve seen your gallery.

When can we expect our photo gallery to be delivered to us?

Your online gallery will be ready within three weeks after your session.
