My Process

 

1.Book the date

 

I'll make note of your due date on my calendar and leave a few dates open around that time. Already had your baby? No problem! Contact me and let's get you scheduled!

 

 

2.Plan session

 

You'll receive a welcome email that includes a questionnaire, prep guide, and a code to access my online interactive styling service. From styling to preparing your home, I've got you covered. Let me know when baby arrives and we'll schedule the exact date for your session.

 

 

3.Take photos

 

I'll arrive to your home a few minutes early and meet everyone in your family. After introductions, I'll walk around your home to see where the best light is. Then we'll start creating beautiful memories you'll treasure forever!

 

 

4.Deliver memories

 

Sneak peeks will be posted a few days after your session, and within three weeks you'll be sent a link to view all your images in a slideshow set to music. Your gallery will open a couple days later and then the really fun part begins-spending your print credit!

Do you pose the baby?

While I do place the baby in the best light and swaddle younger babies, there is no formal posting that takes place. I will photograph the baby alone and in the family's arms - the best place for a newborn to be!

When should we book a newborn session?

Ideally, it's best to book your session while you are still pregnant. I note your due date and keep a few dates open around that time frame. If you've already had your baby, get in touch with me and I would be more than happy to try and accommodate you.

Can you hold a session date for us?

All bookings are first come/first serve. To keep it fair, I cannot hold a date without a retainer fee and signed session contract.

What is your payment schedule?

In order to officially book your session, a non-refundable retainer fee is required of 50% of the collection price. The remaining balance is due one week before the session.

Locations greater than 25 miles from Plainfield, Indiana, will be charged a $1/mile fee.
