As an Indianapolis family photographer, I create a relaxed, natural experience that feels effortless and meaningful. My sessions take place in the comfort of your home or a favorite outdoor spot, where everyone can feel at ease. Every session is thoughtfully designed to be stress-free and enjoyable, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: spending time together and making memories. From start to finish, you’ll receive guidance on wardrobe, session preparation, and how to make the most of your time together, so your family’s story is beautifully captured.

The process

1. Book your date

Fill out the contact form, and I’ll send over my available dates. Once you choose your date, sign the contract, and pay the 50% retainer—you’re booked!

2. Plan your session

You’ll receive a warm welcome email with everything you need—a short questionnaire, prep guide, and access to my online styling service—for a relaxed and beautifully seamless session.


3. A relaxed, natural session

On session day, you can just be present with your family. I’ll guide you through natural prompts to capture genuine moments — no need to worry about perfect poses.

4. Relive the magic

Within a few weeks, you’ll receive your gallery filled with heartfelt, timeless images — photographs you’ll treasure for years to come.

FAQ

Where Will My family session take plaice?

Lifestyle family sessions take place at an agreed upon location. This could include parks, downtowns, or even your own home.

Can you hold a session date for us?

All bookings are first come/first serve. To keep it fair, I cannot hold a date without a retainer fee and signed session contract.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable for an outdoor session?

Outdoor sessions will be rescheduled for inclement weather; however, they will not be rescheduled for cloudy days.

Do you offer extended family sessions?

Yes! My Signature Extended Family Sessions include everything from a Keepsake Family Session. They’re available for an additional $150.

What is your payment schedule?

In order to officially book your session, a non-refundable retainer fee is required of 50% of the collection price. The remaining balance is due one week before the session.

Is there a travel fee?

Locations greater than 25 miles from Plainfield, Indiana, will be charged a $1/mile fee.

Can I purchase additional images or the full gallery?

Yes! Each session includes a set number of beautifully edited digital images, but you’ll also have the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery once you’ve viewed your photos. Most families fall in love with so many of their images that they choose to upgrade — but there’s no pressure to decide until after you’ve seen your gallery.

When can we expect our photo gallery to be delivered to us?

Your online gallery will be ready within three weeks after your session.
