As a photographer, there's nothing quite like the feeling of capturing the growth and milestones of a family over time. That's why I was so excited to photograph this family of five again, this time for their little one's 6-month milestone pictures at Celery Bog Nature Area in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The first time I photographed this family was for their maternity shoot, where we captured beautiful images of the mom-to-be with the rest of the family. The second time around, I photographed their newborn session, where I was able to capture precious moments of their baby in the comfort of their own home. And now, six months later, it was time for little T's next milestone: sitting up on his own.
For this particular session, we chose Celery Bog Nature Area, an incredible location for family photography with it's beautiful scenery and lush greenery. The J family was such a joy to work with, and the images we captured really captured their personalities and love for one another. The baby was a delight to photograph, and the older kids were just as fun as I remembered - so full of life, energy, and happiness.
Milestone sessions are always so special, as they capture a moment in time that will never be repeated. Seeing a baby grow and develop is a beautiful thing. I'm so grateful to have had this opportunity to photograph this family again, and I'm already looking forward to their next session.
